Asbestos Abatement
Asbestos is a heat-resistant fibrous silicate mineral that was used in fire-resistant and insulating materials in the past. Asbestos was used for many years in building construction and it can be found in many forms and places such as pipe insulation, plasters, joint compound, roofing, electrical insulation, ceilings, walls and as a fireproofing material in buildings. It has been found to be hazardous to humans when it is inhaled into the lungs (aka friable and/or airborne) which makes it necessary to remove it from structures containing this hazardous material.
Lead Abatement
We complete the removal of lead-based products, such as paint, lead piping and lead and contained on the exterior of structures, if necessary. Much of our exposure to lead comes from things such as the use of fossil fuels, some types of industrial facilities, and the former use of lead-based paint in homes. Once the government determined that lead-based products are proven to be toxic, they introduced strict regulations and legislation, which we must comply with, in order to reduce the public’s exposure to lead.
Mold Remediation
We contain and remove toxic mold from commercial and residential structures. Mold is naturally occurring in the environment and outdoors it plays a key role in nature and is harmless. However, when mold grows indoors, that is when it can become dangerous and a health hazard. Mold is a collection of very tiny spores, invisible to the naked eye, that float in outdoor and indoor air. Mold begins to grow and multiply when it settles on a wet or damp surface. Once that process occurs, a health hazard is introduced within 48 hours.
